1. Search Methodology

Multiple search queries were executed via Twitter MCP to surface Indonesian owner discussions around the Honda BR-V. Seven distinct query variations were attempted:

  1. "Honda BRV" β€” returned mostly old "I liked a YouTube video" shares dating from 2016–2019, with very little original commentary.
  2. "BRV Honda kelebihan kekurangan" β€” five results, predominantly media outlet link shares with zero owner engagement.
  3. "Honda BRV pajak servis biaya" β€” zero results.
  4. "Honda BRV owner punya pengalaman" β€” zero results.
  5. "BR-V review pajak mahal" β€” returned mostly non-Indonesian results; nothing actionable.
  6. "Honda BRV Indonesia review 2024" β€” zero results.
  7. "BRV vs Rush vs Terios perbandingan" β€” one result, an old link share from 2020 with no discussion thread.

Finding: Honda BR-V has minimal presence in active Indonesian Twitter/X automotive discussions. Unlike Xpander, Veloz Hybrid, or Stargazer β€” all of which generate substantial Twitter conversation β€” BR-V discussion appears concentrated on YouTube and web forums instead. The sparse Twitter footprint should not be read as lack of market interest; it reflects platform preference within the Indonesian automotive community.


2. Relevant Tweets Found

Across roughly 200-plus results scanned from all seven queries, only about six tweets contained genuine owner or buyer commentary rather than media link reshares. They are documented below.

3. Sentiment Analysis

With only roughly six relevant tweets, a proper statistical sentiment analysis is not meaningful. The data set is too small to draw quantitative conclusions. However, the limited signal suggests the following directional themes:

4. Key Insights

Discussion for this model lives on YouTube and web forums (Kaskus, Invernity community, OLX comment threads) rather than Twitter.

5. Limitations

This research carries significant limitations that must be acknowledged:

  • Twitter search API constraints limit historical data retrieval, particularly for tweets older than roughly 7–10 days depending on the query.
  • Honda BR-V discussions in Indonesia are concentrated on other platforms β€” YouTube comments, Kaskus threads, Invernity community posts, and automotive blog comment sections carry far richer owner sentiment for this model.
  • The sparse Twitter data should not be interpreted as lack of market interest. BR-V sells steadily in Indonesia; its owners simply do not use Twitter as their primary discussion platform.
  • For comprehensive owner sentiment on this model, web forum data and YouTube comment analysis provide significantly more actionable insights than Twitter research alone.

All tweets were retrieved via Twitter MCP search tool across seven distinct query variations, covering terms in both Indonesian and English. Total relevant tweets surfaced: approximately six, from over 200 results scanned across all queries. Search was conducted in June–July 2025.
